ADD / ADHD

There is an old saying that "Children should be seen and not heard." But, everyone knows kids are active. They can be a handful. Yet, some go too far starting fights or causing chaos in the classroom.

Even on prescription drugs, my friend's son A.J. acted out and was so angry with ADHD and Bipolar Disorder symptoms, he was often sent home three times a week. After years of medication, the solution his mother found was so simple it will blow you away!

IS MY KID NORMAL?

Kids are always going to forget homework, daydream, act without thinking, or get fidgety. But some kids constantly push parents to the point of frustration ... even fear. The key is defining what is normal or acceptable, and knowing when it is time to ask for help.

First step to addressing the problem? Recognize signs and symptoms. Attention Deficit Disorder, with or without hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD), always begins in childhood, usually before the age of 7. (1)

However, it can be difficult to distinguish between these conditions and normal "kid behavior."

THE BIG PICTURE

According to the CDC, ADHD is one of the most common childhood affective disorders with an estimated 6.4 million diagnosed in the U.S. Nearly 1 in 10 American children (ages 4-17 years) will be diagnosed with ADHD at some point in their lifetime.(1)

WHAT’S GOING ON?

Some kids with Attention Deficit Disorder can be calm and serene, and not disruptive. Key symptoms may be inattentionforgetfulness, and inability to be patient or take turns.

Children with ADHD are also hyperactive ... always moving or overly active and/or have trouble controlling impulsive behaviors (act without thinking about consequences). They may also experience episodes of angry outbursts and rage.

Either disorder can affect your child’s ability to learn and get along with others.

If you spot only a few of these signs, or if symptoms are random, then your child is probably exhibiting normal behavior. On the other hand, if numerous symptoms are present across all situations—home, school, and play—it may be time to take a closer look.

ASTONISHING NEWS

Cognitive therapy will always be an important ingredient in helping your child manage. But the good news is that once your child is diagnosed with ADHD, and its severity, it may not mean years of taking psychotropic medicines and dealing with their difficult side effects.

There is now a building body of evidence that points to one common denominator for improving mood disorder symptoms.

CAN'T ALL BE WRONG

Twenty-six (26) independent, peer-reviewed and published research studies using a specific nutritional supplement on various mental affective disorders including ADHD, have been conducted at 14 different universities over nearly 20 years. And in every  study significant and unexpected improvement was seen in the majority of research participants.

    1. Thanks Leslie. Especially important are those who have overwhelming anger and rage. They often have no idea why they act out or feel so isolated.
